Auburn University has a storied college football tradition that dates back to 1892. They most recently won a National Championship in 2010 with Cam Newton at quarterback. The team’s fortunes have taken a turn for the better the best two seasons under head coach Gus Malzahn and Tigers’ boosters expect a return to the top of the national rankings very soon.

The Auburn Tigers football team plays their home games in 87,000 seat Jordan-Hare Stadium. They are fiercely competitive against juggernaut teams like the Texas A&M Aggies and the LSU Tigers. They are the arch rivals of the University of Alabama, and the teams play a contest dubbed the ‘Iron Bowl’ every year on Thanksgiving Weekend. While the Crimson Tide hold a decided advantage in the all time series, Auburn has won 9 of the last 14 meetings.

The University of Auburn is a member of the Southeastern Conference, known as one of the best all-around athletic conferences in the country. The SEC is certainly one of the best–if not the best–college football conferences. The affiliation with the SEC is also good news for Auburn Tigers football fans who are looking to watch live game streaming online.

The SEC has a broadcast deal with ESPN and most of the conference’s games–including Auburn’s–air on one of the affiliated networks. Games that don’t air on an ESPN channel show on the Southeastern Conference’s own TV network (‘The SEC Network‘).

The SEC Network is a partnership between the conference and ESPN meaning that both networks share the same state of the art digital platform. US cable/satellite subscribers have free access to a wealth of streaming action from both the ESPN and SEC digital platform including all live game action. Recently, this access became available to non-cable subscribers through SlingTV. This service provides streaming-only subscriptions to major premium cable networks including ESPN and the SEC Network.

US fans have it easy when it comes to live streaming of Auburn football action, but the Tigers’ international fans also have options. In certain countries, access to the live game streams is just as easy as in the United States. This fact is due to ESPN’s policy of offering ‘digital only’ subscriptions in a growing number of foreign countries. Fans in these countries can watch the Auburn football action with the same quality and reliability as those in the United States.

Fans in other countries have to work a little harder to get Auburn Tigers football game streams. There’s a chance that they can find a 24/7 network stream of ESPN or the SEC Network. They’re not easy to find, and quality is ‘hit and miss’ but it is possible–the best place to check is on college football message boards or with a Google search.

A better option is to find streams for individual games on one of the many live sports websites. These sites also vary widely in quality and you should always be cautious when visiting unfamiliar sites. A few of the better sites are mentioned in our list of the top free online sports streaming services.
